Merry Christmas 2011

Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas!
This was our first Christmas with just us ; my husband, daughter and I. All of our other family had plans to go to Florida this year and since I am 34 ,about to be 35 weeks pregnant on tuesday, I cant travel. So I made Christmas dinner for my family for the first time .We made cookies opened presents and just had a nice relaxing time no rushing around or family drama lol

Proud of myself stuffing, green beans, chicken, and mac and cheese

Today Mariah decided to hold her own bottle! I know she is 10 months so she should know how to hold her own bottle, but she has never really gotten a chance to practice because I have been breastfeeding her .Oh and the update on that... I have been giving her formula for about a month and a half now, after she got her 2nd tooth she didnt want anything to do with breastfeeding I mean i tried everything, so I got to breastfeed  for 9 months which  was a blessing. But yea she is holding her own bottle and sippy cup and she is eating table food basically whatever we eat i give her some and she loves food!!! lol

luv and blessings :)

Sunday: Grilled chicken, corn on the Cobb and mashed potatoes

Tonights meal!!! Veggie Burgers and Waffle Fries
we are going out after dinner so I planned for a super quick meal. I bought frozen veggie burgers at the whole foods store they are all organic, really healthy and yummy. so just stick those on the stove for about 7 min and then dress them up with lettus(we like using spinach) tomatoes and cheese(feta). Then I got some frozen waffle fries also organic from the whole foods store and all you gotta do is put those in the oven on  320 degrees and bake for 10 min.

This is a favorite of ours.

Happy Monday
