I have been busy ,busy, busy planning Mariah's 1 year old Birthday party! She will 1 years old on July 5th, but we are having her party on the 10th. I initially wanted to do a really small get together with a couple friends and family you know stress free and care free,( she wont remember this anyways) but that didn't work out too well. When we sat down and made a list of the friends and family who have really been there for us and have help us out a lot this year we had at least 30 people lol so we just to decided to do it big and invite everyone! I rented out a covered sitting area at the local park right next to the playground and were just gonna grill (hot dog and hamburgers) out there :)
As far as the decorations go I am totally a Do it Yourself kinda mamma I mean i would rather make everything from the clothes i wear to the house decorations. Its just fun for me and its a whole lot cheaper, so i made all of Mariahs decorations, which there isnt really that much decorating thats gonna be going on but everything i made was so quick and easy! Im not really doing a theme but i do have most of everything color coordinated the colors are Hot pink, Neon green and Neon orange. I am borrowing a friends bubble machine as another source of entertainment for the kiddos while all the adults mingle, excepting to have alot of fun
